1 c SUGAR
1/2 c White KARO
4 tb WATER
1 ts SODA; (heaping w/o lumps)
1-1/2 c Spanish PEANUTS with skins;
-(not raw)

Peanut Brittle – My Favorite Preparation

Mix top 3 ingred together and bring to a boil Cook til thin syrup 230°. Add Peanuts. Boil, stir til light tan color – 300°. Add soda, stir very well. Pour onto buttered cookie sheet. DO NOT Spread. Posted to KitMailbox Digest by ClayCooker <ClayCooker@aol.com> on Jan 6, 1998
