2 c Unbleached flour
6 tb Granulated sugar
1-1/2 tb Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
6 tb Peanut butter
3/4 c Skim milk
1/4 c Applesauce – at room
Temperature
1 Egg white – whipped
1/4 c Grape or strawberry jelly
Peanut Butter and Jelly Preparation
Preheat oven at 350. Prepare pan(s) with cooking spray. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, milk, applesauce, egg white, and jelly. Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients just until moistened. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes depending on pan size.
