1 Jar (8-oz) peanuts
2-1/2 c Sugar
2/3 c White corn surup
1 c Milk
2-1/2 ts Butter or margarine
1 c Powdered sugar; sifted
3 dr Red food coloring

Peanut Patties 2 Preparation

Place sugar, syrup, milk & peanuts in a large heavy pan. Cook slowly over medium heat to a soft ball stage on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat & add butter, food coloring & powdered sugar.
