Cooking Ingredients for Pecan Candy Recipe
3-1/2 c Sugar
3/4 c Whipping cream
1 c Corn syrup
1 pn Salt
5 c Pecans
1/2 ts Baking soda
1 tb Vanilla
Pecan Candy Preparation
Mix sugar, corn syrup & salt in saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil. Add pecans & cook until soft ball stage (225 degrees). Remove from heat & add soda & vanilla. Beat vigorously until candy begins to cool & thickens. Pour into a greased 13×9-inch pan. When cool, cut into 1-inch squares.
