Cooking Ingredients for Pecan Pie Surprise Bars 2 Recipe
1 Box (18.5-oz) yellow cake
-mix
1/2 c Butter or margarine
1 Egg
1/2 c Brown sugar
3/4 c Light corn syryp
3/4 c Dark corn syrup
3 Eggs
1 ts Vanilla
1 c Chopped pecans
Pecan Pie Surprise Bars 2 Preparation
Preheat oven to 350o. Grease bottom and sides of a 9×13 baking pan. Reserve 2/3 cup of dry cake mix for filling. In a large mixing bowl, combine remaining mix, butter or margarine, and egg. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until light golden brown. Meanwhile, prepare filling. Combine reserved cake mix, brown sugar, light and dark corn syrup, 3 eggs and vanilla. Add pecans and pour over crust.
