Cooking Ingredients for Pepper Cake Recipe

1 c Sugar
1/2 c Butter or margarine
3 Eggs beaten
1 ts Rum flavor
1 ts Vanilla flavor
1-1/2 c Flour
1/2 ts Black pepper
1/2 ts Salt
1 c Dates chopped
1 c Walnuts chopped

Pepper Cake Preparation

Cream butter and sugar fluffy. Beat in eggs and flavorings. Mix together, flour, pepper and salt. Blend flour mixture into creamed mixture. Mix in dates and nuts. Pour into a greased 8 x 8 inch pan.
