Cooking Ingredients for Pike s Peak Spiked Apple Crisp Recipe

5 c Granny Smith apple; peeled
-and sliced
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Grated lemon rind
1 ts Grated orange rind
1 Jigger Grand Marnier
1 Jigger amaretto
3/4 c Granulated sugar
1/4 c Packed brown sugar
3/4 c Sifted flour
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 c Butter
Whipped cream; or ice cream

Pike s Peak Spiked Apple Crisp Preparation

Arrange apple slices in greased 2 quart round casserole. Sprinkle cinnamon, lemon and orange rinds and both liquers on top of apples. In separate bowl, mix sugars, flour, salt and butter with a pastry blender till crumbly. Spread mixture on top of apples. Bake uncovered at 350 till apples are tender and top is slightly browned. Approx one hour. Serve warm with cream, whipped cream, or vanilla ice cream.
