Cooking Ingredients for Pine Nut Cake Recipe
1/2 c Butter; unsalted
1 c Sugar
1-1/2 c All-purpose flour
1 ts Baking powder
1/2 c Milk
2 Eggs; separated
2 ts Vanilla flavored sugar
1/2 c Pine nuts
Pine Nut Cake Preparation
Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add egg yolks and continue beating. Pour a little of the flour in egg mixture, then the milk; while mixing, also add baking powder and remaining flour. Beat egg whites until very stiff. Fold whites into batter. Pour mixture into buttered non-stick 10 pan or line pan with foil that has been buttered. Sprinkle surface with pine nuts and vanillasugar.
