Cooking Ingredients for Pineapple Cheese Dessert Recipe
Crumb Crust; 9
8 oz Can crushed pineapple
3 oz Pkg. lemon or
-Orange-Pineapple Jello
1-1/4 c Boiling water
3 oz Pkg cream cheese; softened
1/4 ts Orange or lemon rind; grated
3 tb Sugar
1/2 ts Vanilla
1 c Sour cream
Pineapple Cheese Dessert Preparation
Drain pineapple, reserving syrup. Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add syrup; cool slightly. Meanwhile, blend cream cheese, orange rind, sugar and vanilla. Combine 1/2 cup jello and the pineapple; set aside. Gradually blend remaining jello into cheese mixture until smooth. Fold in sour cream. Pour into crumb crust. Chill until set, but not firm.
