3 c Raw peanuts
1 c White corn syrup
2 tb Soda
1/4 c Butter
1 ts Vanilla
1-1/2 c Water
3 c Sugar
Rosalyn Carter s Peanut Brittle Preparation
Boil sugar, water and syrup until mixture spins thread; add peanuts. After adding peanuts, stir continually until syrup turn golden brown. Remove from heat, add remaining ingredients and stir until butter melts. Pour quickly on 2 cookie sheets with sides.
