Cooking Ingredients for Sachertorte Cookies Recipe
1 c Butter or margarine;
-softened
1 sm Package instant chocolate
-pudding
1 Egg
2 c Flour
3 tb Sugar
1 Jar Polaner All-Fruit dark
-cherry preserves
1/2 c Chocolate chips
3 tb Butter or margarine
Sachertorte Cookies Preparation
Preheat oven to 350F. Cream margarine and pudding mix until light and fluffy; beat in egg. Gradually add flour at low speed until well mixed, and soft dough forms. Shape into 1 balls, roll in sugar. Place 2 apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Make imprint in middle with thumb. Bake at 325F for 15-18 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and cool. Fill each cookie with 1/2 teaspoon preserves. Melt together chocolate chips and butter; stir until smooth. Drizzle over cookies. Yields 4 dozen.
