Cooking Ingredients for Salmon Steaks Alaska with Cucumber Sauce Recipe
2 tb Lime or lemon juice
1/4 ts TABASCO brand Pepper Sauce
4 Salmon steaks; fresh or
-frozen, 1-inch thick
*CUCMBER SAUCE*
1 c Lowfat or nonfat yogurt
1/4 ts TABASCO brand Pepper Sauce
1 c Chopped cucumber
1 tb Snipped fresh dill OR 1
-teaspoon dried dill weed
Salmon Steaks Alaska with Cucumber Sauce Preparation
Combine lime juice and TABASCO® sauce. To bake, place salmon steaks in shallow baking dish. Brush lime juice over steaks. Bake in 350oF. oven 25 to 30 minutes, or until easily flaked with a fork. To broil, place salmon steaks on greased broiler rack. Brush lime juice over steaks. Place in pre-heated broiler 4 inches from heat. Broil 15 minutes, or until easily flaked with a fork. If desired, garnish with lime or lemon slices. Serve with Cucumber Sauce. Blend together yogurt and TABASCO® Sauce. Stir in cucumber and dill. Makes approximately 2 cups. Makes 4 servings.
