1/2 c Margarine; oleo
1/3 c Sugar
1/3 c Brown sugar
2 tb Water
1 c Flour
1-1/4 ts Baking powder
1 lg Egg
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Walnuts; chopped
1/2 c Shredded coconut ; (Angle
-Flake)
6 oz Chocolate chips
Sauce Pan Chocolate Chip Coconut Bars Preparation
1. Rub 8 or 9 inch square pan with some margarine. 2. Melt margarine in pan, remove from heat, 3 Add sugar, water and blend. 4. Stir in flour, baking powder, egg, vanilla and beat well. 5. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. DO NOT OVER BAKE. Cool in pan and cut.
