4 c Shredded red cabbage
1 cn Pie-sliced apples;20oz
1 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
1/4 ts Caraway seeds ( optional )
1 Bay leaf
1/2 c Beer
1 cn Condensed chicken broth

Pour beer and chicken broth over all. Cover and cook on low 6 hours or high 3 hours, or until cabbage is tender. Remove bay leaf before serving.
