Cooking Ingredients for Stove Top Potpourri Recipe
3 tb Ground cinnamon
2 tb Ground cloves
1 tb Ground nutmeg
1 tb Anise seed
1 ts Ground ginger
Stove Top Potpourri Preparation
Add to one quart water. Bring to boil. Reduce to simmer. Continue to add water as the level goes down. The spices will get gunky in there, but I just stir every few hours. After about a week of constant adding of new water, I clean out the crocker and make a new batch.
