Cooking Ingredients for Strawberry Custard Recipe
3/4 c Sugar
1/3 c All-purpose flour
2-1/4 c Milk
5 Eggs,beaten
1 tb Orange-flavored liqueur or
2 tsp. vanilla
1 pt Fresh strawberries, hulled,
-sliced
Strawberry Custard Preparation
Mix sugar and flour in medium saucepan; stir in milk until blended. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir 1/2 cup milk mixture into eggs, stir egg mixture into milk mixture. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in liqueur. Cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally. Refrigerate, covered, until chilled, about 2 hours. Stir in berries.
