Cooking Ingredients for Stroganoff 57 Recipe
1 lb Ground beef
2 tb Flour
1 Egg – slightly beaten
3/4 c Water
1 ts Salt
1/4 c Heinz 57 sauce
ds Pepper
1/4 c Minced parsley
2 tb Shortening
1/3 c Dairy sour cream
4 oz Can mushroom stems and
Piece
Hot buttered noodles
1/3 c Chopped onion
Stroganoff 57 Preparation
Lightly combine first 4 ingredients. Form into 16 meatballs. In large skillet partially brown meatballs in shortening. Drain off excess fat. Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid. Stir mushrooms and onion nto skillet; saute until onion is tender. Stir in flour, then reserved mushroom liquid, water, 57 sauce, and parsley. Cover; simmer 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Slowly stir in sour cream; heat. Do not boil. Serve immediately over noodles. Recipe By :
