Cooking Ingredients for Sugared Walnuts – Pat Gorsuch Recipe
1 c Sugar
6 tb Milk
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Vanilla
2 c Walnuts (whole or halves)
Sugared Walnuts – Pat Gorsuch Preparation
Combine sugar, milk and cinnamon in sauce pan and cook to 242 deg. or soft ball stage. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and walnuts. When walnuts are well coated withthe syrup ..Spread out on Wax paper to cool. Break apart and store in Jars. Excellent at Xmas or as a thank you gift to someone.
