Sun-Maid Raisin Granola Preparation

This is an old recipe from the Sun-Maid Raisin company that my son (he”s 9 now) and I have made for years together. He”s picky; it”s good. You can add spices (cinnamon or nutmeg) with the oil, too. Combine oats, coconut, wheat germ, nuts and salt in a large bowl. Stir in condensed milk; add oil and mix thoroughly. Spread mixture on shallow baking pan lined with waxed paper. Bake in 300 degree oven, stirring occasionally, 1 hour or until golden. Remove from oven and stir in raisins while still warm. Store in a tightly covered container. Makes 8 cups.
