Cooking Ingredients for Pumpkin-Walnut Bread Recipe

2 c Sifted all-purpose flour
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Baking soda
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Ground nutmeg
1 ts Ground cinnamon
2 Eggs; well beaten
1/2 c Milk; canned condensed (not
-sweetened) Carnation milk
1 c Sugar
1 c Canned pumpkin
1/4 c Butter or margarine; (1/2
-stick)
1 c Chopped walnuts

Pumpkin-Walnut Bread Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder, soda, nutmeg, cinnamon into a bowl. Beat eggs, milk, sugar, pumpkin and butter into large bowl until well blended. Stir in the dry ingredients until mixture is smooth. Fold in nuts. Spoon into a greased 9 x 5 X 3 inch loaf pan. Bake in a moderate oven 350 for about 55 minutes or until a wooden tooth pick inserted into the center of th eloaf comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan,when completely cooled,wrap in plastic and refrigerate.
