Cooking Ingredients for Quick and Moist Sour Bread Recipe
5 c Flour
2-2/3 tb Baking Powder
1 ts Baking Soda
1/2 ts Salt
1/3 c Sugar
1-1/2 c Sour Cream
12 oz Light Beer
3 ts Butter
Quick and Moist Sour Bread Preparation
Preheat oven to 350. combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar. Add sour cream and beer alternately, mixing well. Pour into greased 2 quart casserole. Bake 50 minutes. Melt butter and brush over surface of bread. Bake 20 to 25 minutes more. Use the cake test for doneness. Serve plain or toasted.
