1/2 c Olive Oil
1 Clove Garlic, Pressed
1 lb Ground Beef
1/4 lb Lean Pork, Ground
2 c Plum Tomatoes
1/2 c Tomato Paste
1/2 c Beef Stock
1-1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
1 Bay Leaf
1/2 c Mushrooms, Sliced
Basil and/or Oregano
Parmesan Cheese

Quick Meat Sauce for Spaghetti Preparation

Heat olive oil in a medium sized pot. When hot, add garlic, meat, tomatoes, tomato paste, stock, salt, pepper and the bay leaf. Simmer uncovered for at least one hour.
