Cooking Ingredients for Red Devil Franks Recipe
4 tb Butter or margarine
2 Cloves garlic; minced
1/8 ts Pepper
1-1/2 tb Prepared mustard
1/2 c Chili sauce
1 c Finely chopped onion
1/2 ts Salt
1-1/2 tb Worcestershire sauce
1-1/2 ts Sugar
1 lb Frankfurters or hot dogs
Red Devil Franks Preparation
Cook onion and garlic in butter over low heat until onion is tender (about 10 minutes). Stir frequently to avoid sticking. Add all other ingredients, except hot dogs. Heat until flavors are well blended (about five minutes). Split hot dogs lengthwise and arrange split side up in shallow pan. (Do not cut all the way through.)
