Cooking Ingredients for Rice Fruit Crisp Recipe
2 c Cooked brown rice
1 c Packed brown sugar
1/4 ts Salt
6 tb Magarine
1 cn Pie filling; any flavor -or-
4 c Sliced fresh apples;
-peaches, or pears
1 tb Lemon juice
1/2 ts Cinnamon
3/4 c Flour
Rice Fruit Crisp Preparation
Combine rice, pie filling or fruit, lemon juice, 1/2 cup brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in greased, shallow baking dish. Mix flour and remaining brown sugar. Cut in margarine until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over rice-fruit mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm. Serves 8-10.
