Cooking Ingredients for Smoked Ham And Mushroom Risotto Recipe
25 g Butter; (1oz)
1 tb Oil
1 Onion; finely chopped
250 g Arborio rice; (8oz)
450 ml Vegetable stock; (3/4 pint)
150 ml White wine; ( 1/4 pint)
175 g Button mushrooms; sliced
-(6oz)
1 Red pepper; finely sliced
125 g Smoked ham; finely sliced
-(4oz)
2 tb Lemon juice
2 tb Single cream
Salt and white pepper
Smoked Ham And Mushroom Risotto Preparation
Melt the butter and oil in a large frying pan. Gently fry the onion for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the rice and cook for 1 minute. Add the stock and wine gradually allowing the rice to soak up each addition before adding more. Continue to stir and add the stock until the rice is cooked (20-25 minutes). Add the mushrooms,pepper, ham, lemon juice, cream and season to taste. Cook for 1-2 minutes, then serve immediately. Converted by MC_Buster. NOTES : A traditional Italian rice dish.
