1/2 bn Sorrel leaves
1 ts Peeled broken black gram

1 ts Black mustard seeds
1 tb Oil
2 Green chillies
2 sm Onions
1 pn Asafoetida
Salt; to taste
Sorrel Dal (Gongura Dal) Preparation
1. Boil the tur gram. 2. Chop the green chillies finely. Chop onions. 3. Pour tur graminto a frying pan. Add sorrel leaves, chillies and onions. Add half a glass of water and cook until leaves and onions soften. 4. Add salt and chilli powder. Stir. Cook until thick. 5. Fry mustard seeds, black gram and asafowtida – add.
