3 pk (3-oz) orange gelatin
1/2 pt Vanilla ice cream
1/8 ts Cinnamon
1/2 c Water
1/4 c Red cinnamon candies
1 Apple; peeled and cut in
-thin wedges
1-1/4 c Boiling water
1/2 c Cold water

Spiced Cinnamon Apples Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Measure 1/2 cup gelatin mixture, add 1/2 cup cold water and chill until thickened. Blend ice cream and cinnamon into remaining gelatin and chill until slightly thickened. Melt candies in 1/2 cup water over low heat. Add apples. Simmer 8 minutes, turning several times. Drain. Cool. Arrange apples on ice cream-gelatin mixture. Top with remaining gelatin. Chill until firm.
