1 Envelope unflavored gelatin
1/2 c Water
3/4 c Lowfat buttermilk
1/2 c Canned crushed pineapple: no
-sugar added
1/2 ts Vanilla extract
1/4 ts Pineapple extract; optional
3 Ice cubes
Pineapple Dessert Cream – Dutch Preparation
Reserve some of the crushed pineapple for garnish. Sprinkle gelatin over water in small saucepan; heat slowly until gelatin dissolves. Pour dissolved gelatin into blender container; add remaining ingredients except ice cubs; process at medium speed until smooth. Turn blender to high speed: add ice cubes one at a time. Pour pineapple mixture into a medium bowl. Chill until set. Makes 1 serving. 485 CALS, 3.1g fat.
