Cooking Ingredients for Pistachio Nut Ice Cream Recipe

2 c Half-and-half
1 c Milk
4 oz Egg beaters or egg substitut
2/3 c Sugar
2 ts Vamilla extract
1/8 ts Almond extract
1 ds Salt
1 Or 2 drops green food
-coloring – Optional
1/2 c Coarsely chopped roasted
-pistachio nuts – UNSALTED

Pistachio Nut Ice Cream Preparation

Combine ingredients except pistachios in a blender or food processor and process until well combined. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until ready to freeae. Blend for a few seconds before pouring into the ice cream maker. Follow the manufacturer”s instructions for freezing. About a minute before ice cream is finished, add nuts and finish freezing.
