1 c Plums
1 c Apricots
1/2 c Pimento
1 c Sugar
1/2 c Vinegar
1/2 c Applesauce

Plum Sauce #3 Preparation

1. Peel and pit fresh plums and apricots; chop pimiento. Combine in a saucepan with sugar, vinegar and applesauce. 2. Bring slowly to a boil, stirring; then simmer, covered, 1 hour. 3. Pour into jars while still warm and cap tightly. Store at least 1 month in a cool, dark place before using. NOTE: If the mixture is too thick, thin it slightly with water before serving.
