Cooking Ingredients for Bird s Nests Recipe

5 oz Chow mein noodles
1 c Peanuts; finely chopped
12 oz Butterscotch chips
60 Jellybeans

Bird s Nests Preparation

We usually do these around Easter break so he can take them to school for treats. You can substitute other candies for the jellybeans. Melt chips. Add noodles & chopped peanuts & stir until thoroughly coated. Drop onto wax paper into 15 globs. Form into a nest. Push 4 – 5 jelly beans slightly into nest. Chill candy until hardened. At Easter time, use a marshmallow peep in the nest instead of the jelly beans. If not making nests, drop candy by smaller spoonfuls. Makes about 30 candies.
