Cooking Ingredients for Polynesian Style Stir Fry Recipe
1 tb Finely minced garlic
1 c Pineapple chunks
1/4 c Pineapple juice
1 c Frozen broccoli
1/2 c Frozen baby peas
1/2 c Frozen green beans
1/2 c Cubed tofu, Chinese 5-spice
-style (OR regular lowfat
-tofu plus 1 tsp. Chinese
-5-spice powder)
1 c Cooked rice
Soy Sauce
Polynesian Style Stir Fry Preparation
Heat pineapple juice in pan with some soy sauce. Add garlic and sautee for 1 minute. Add frozen vegetables. Cook 5 minutes or until mostly thawed, stirring frequently. Add tofu (and spice powder if using) and rice. Cook, stirring frequently, until heated through. Serve immediately with additional soy sauce to taste. Fast, easy and delicious!
