Cooking Ingredients for Porcupine Meatballs 2 Recipe
1/2 c Long-Grain Rice; uncooked
1/2 c Water
1/3 c Onion; chopped
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Celery Salt
1/8 ts Pepper
1/8 ts Garlic Powder
1 lb Ground Beef
2 tb Cooking Oil
1 cn (15 Oz) Tomato Sauce
1 c Water
2 tb Brown Sugar
2 ts Worcestershire Sauce
Porcupine Meatballs 2 Preparation
In a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients. Add beef & mix well. Shape into 1 1/2 in balls. In a large skillet, brown meatballs in oil; drain. Combine tomato sauce, water, brown sugar & Worcestershire sauce; pour over meatballs, Reduce heat; cover & simmer for 1 hr. Yield 4-6 servings.
