Cooking Ingredients for Printemps Chowder Recipe

1 c Shelled new peas; (1 pound)
-( I have used frozen)
1/3 c Finely sliced green onions;
-including tender tops
1 c Water
1 c Raw potatoes; cut in
-1/4-inch cubes
1 ts Salt
2 tb Butter
1 tb Flour
1-1/2 c Milk
1/4 c Quartered; thinly sliced
-radishes
1 tb Chopped parsley

Printemps Chowder Preparation

Cook peas and onions in water uncovered for 10 minutes. Add potatoes and salt. Continue cooking 6 to 8 minutes. Blend butter and flour over low heat, add milk slowly, stirring constantly. Combine with peas, potatoes and their liquid. SIMMER 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
