Cooking Ingredients for Sherried Bananas Recipe

6 Half-ripe bananas
1 c Sugar
2 c Water
3 Cloves
1/4 c Butter
1/2 Lemon; sliced
2 tb Sherry
Shortening

Sherried Bananas Preparation

Cut bananas in half, lengthwise. Fry in shortening until golden brown and remove from skillet. Brown sugar in skillet. Add water and cook until it forms a thick syrup. Add cloves.
