2 tb Brown sugar
1/4 ts Cinnamon
1/4 c Dry sherry
2 tb Corn syrup
2 tb Butter
2 c Walnut halves
2 c Cashew halves
Sherried Walnuts And Cashews Preparation
Heat oven to 250oF. Line 15x10x1 inch baking pan with foil. In large skillet, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, sherry, corn syrup and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Stir in walnuts and cashews; cook and stir 4 to 7 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Spread nuts on foil lined pan. Bake at 250oF for 15 to 20 minutes or until glazed. Cool completely on foil. Store tightly covered.
