Cooking Ingredients for Allium Soup Recipe

2 md Onions; Cut In Half And
; Thinly Sliced
2 Leeks; Washed And Thinly

9 c Water
1/4 c Soy Sauce
Freshly Ground Black Pepper;

Allium Soup Preparation

Place the onions, leeks, scallions,garlic, and ginger in a large soup pot with 1 cup of the water. Cook, stirring over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients, reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook for another 55 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
