3 sl White bread; cubed
2 tb Butter or margarine; melted
2 Eggs
1/3 c Sugar
1/4 ts Cinnamon
1/4 ts Nutmeg
1/4 ts Salt
1/3 c Sugar
1-1/3 c Scalded milk
1 ts Vanilla

Bread Pudding #1 Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place bread in a buttered 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish. Pour butter over bread; toss. Combine next 6 ingredients. Gradually stir in milk and vanilla. Pour over bread. Bake 45 min. Makes 4 servings. by Diane Geary <diane@keyway.net> on Feb 15, 1998
