Cooking Ingredients for Breakfast Bars Recipe
1/2 c Butter
1-1/4 c Brown sugar
2 Eggs
1/3 c Molasses
1-3/4 c Flour
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Salt
1 ts Cinnamon
2 c Oatmeal
1/2 c Chopped walnuts
1 c Raisins, dried cherries or
-cranberries
1 c Chocolate chunks or pieces
Breakfast Bars Preparation
Combine butter, sugar, eggs and molasses in bowl. Stir together flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon then add to first mixture. Mix well. Stir in oatmeal, walnuts, dried fruit, and chocolate pieces. Spoon into greased 9×13 inch pan and bake in a 400F oven for 12 -15 minutes. Makes 2 – 3 dozen.
