2 ts Baking powder
2 tb Butter or butter substitute
1/4 ts Salt
1 Egg, well beaten
Cinnamon
3/4 c Milk
1/2 c Brown sugar
2 c Flour

Brown Sugar Bread 2 Preparation

Cream sugar and 1 tablespoon butter, add egg. Add milk and mix well. Add flour which has been sifted, measured, and sifted with baking powder and salt. Pour into well-oiled pan and sprinkle with brown sugar. Sprinkle with cinnamon and dot with butter. Bake in hot oven (435o F) 25 minutes. 6 servings. Mrs. C.R. Crispin, Syracuse, NY.
