Cooking Ingredients for Butter Beans and Bacon Recipe

6 sl Bacon; (6 to 8)
1 md Onion
1 c Milk
2 cn (Medium) large butter beans
1/8 ts Salt
1 ts Butter
1 ds Pepper

Butter Beans and Bacon Preparation

Dice and brown bacon. Remove bacon. Dice onion and brown in some of the fat. Add beans. Add salt, pepper and butter. Add milk and bacon and cook until somewhat thickened. Crumble bacon over beans. Delicious served with corn bread. by Diane Geary <diane@keyway.net> on Feb 27, 1998
