Cooking Ingredients for Butter-Scotch Recipe

1/2 c Brown sugar
1/4 c Butter or butter substitute
1/2 c Sugar
2 ts Vinegar
1/2 c Water
1/2 ts Vanilla
Few grains salt

Butter-Scotch Preparation

Combine all ingredients except flavoring. Cover until mixture begins to boil. Boil without stirring to soft crack stage (275 – 280 F). Add flavoring. Do not stir. Pour quickly into well-buttered pan.
