Cooking Ingredients for California Shells on the Side Recipe
3 c (8 oz.) SKINNER Large or
-Medium Shells; uncooked
3 c Fresh broccoli florets
1 c Coarsely chopped sweet red
-pepper
3 tb Margarine or butter
5 Cloves garlic; sliced
1/4 ts Crushed dried red pepper;
-(optional)
1/3 c Grated Parmesan cheese
California Shells on the Side Preparation
Cook pasta according to package directions; during last 2 minutes of cooking, stir in broccoli and sweet red pepper. Drain pasta and vegetables. In non-stick skillet over medium heat, melt margarine; add garlic and dried red pepper. Cook 1 minute; do not brown. Toss hot pasta and vegetables with garlic mixture; sprinkle with cheese. Salt to taste. 6 servings (about 1 cup each). Prep Time: 20 min. Start to Finish: 20 min.
