Cooking Ingredients for Canadian Shortbread Recipe

1 c Butter softened
1 c Icing sugar; (powdered)
1 c Corn starch
2-1/2 c Flour

Canadian Shortbread Preparation

Cream butter real well with beater. Add icing sugar in 3 parts beating very well after each addition. Add corn starch in 3 parts beating well again. Add flour gradually beating well. Flour counter – break off small pieces and pat and cut with cutter dipped in flour. ( round cutter about 2 to 2-1/2 diameter) Bake at 300 degrees – maybe 20 min.
