Caramel Butter Frosting Preparation
From: nancy-dooley@uiowa.edu (Nancy Dooley) Date: 20 Oct 1994 21:40:05 -0400 Melt 1/2 C. butter; add 1 C. brown sugar. Bring to a boil; stir 1 minute or until slightly thick. Cool slightly. Add 1/4 C. milk; beat smooth. Beat in about 3 1/4 C. powdered sugar until of spreading consistency. Frosts tops and sides of 2 8-inch layers. (This is my favorite one!)
