1/2 c Shortening (part butter)
1 c Brown sugar
1 Egg
1/2 ts Vanilla
1-3/4 c Flour
1/2 ts Soda
1/4 ts Salt
Caramel Refrigerator Cookies Preparation
Mix shortening, sugar, egg & vanilla. Stir in flour, soda & salt. Wrap in wax paper. Chill until firm. Heat oven to 400. Cut in 1/8 slices. Place on ungreased sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes.
