Cooking Ingredients for Carob Chip Cookies Recipe
1-1/4 c Whole wheat flour
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/3 c Butter or oil
1/3 c Honey
1 Egg, beaten
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 c Carob chips
1 c Chopped nuts
Carob Chip Cookies Preparation
Preparation : Sift the dry ingredients together. Cream the butter, honey, egg and vanilla. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Add the carob chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 3 dozen. If they spread out too much when baking refrigerate the dough before placing on cookie sheet.
