Cooking Ingredients for Cherry-Pecan Bread Recipe

2 c Flour
1 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
3/4 c Sugar
1/2 c Butter
2 Eggs
1 ts Vanilla
1 c Buttermilk
1 c Chopped pecans
1 Jar; (approx. 10 oz)
-cherries, drained and
-chopped in half

Cherry-Pecan Bread Preparation

In a med. bowl, thoroughly stir together the flour, soda, and salt; set aside. In a large bowl cream together sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour mixture and buttermilk alternately to the creamed mixture. Beat just until blended after each addition. Fold in cherries and nuts. Turn batter into a greased 9×5 loaf pan.
