Cooking Ingredients for Chicken Cordon Bleu Loaf Recipe

3 Boneless, skinless chicken
-breast halves
4 tb Italian bread crumbs
6 oz Cooked ham slices
6 oz Provolone cheese slices

Chicken Cordon Bleu Loaf Preparation

Preheat oven to 375o. Grease a 8 x4 loaf pan. Place chicken breasts between layers of plastic wrap. Pound out each half to a rectangle about 8 x4 . Place 1 chicken breast in bottom of loaf pan. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon bread crumbs. Top crumbs with a layer of cheese, then a layer of ham. Repeat layers, ending with a layer of crumbs. Bake about 1 hour or until chicken is cooked through. Let stand in pan 15 minutes. Cut into 4 slices to serve. Makes 4 servings. Variation: Turkey cutlets can be substituted for the chicken.
