1/2 c Margarine
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Brown sugar
2 Eggs – separated
1 ts Vanilla
2 ts Baking powder
1 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salr
3 tb Milk – or water
6 oz Chocolate chips
1 c Brown sugar
1/2 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Nuts – , optional
Chocolate Meringue Bars Preparation
Beat margarine, sugars, egg yolks, and 1 tsp. vanilla. Mix dry ings. , and add with milk. Spread in 9 x13 pan. Sprinkle with chocol ate chips.
